Biography
Zhang Weimin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Ye County, Shandong Province. He was born in 1956, entered the work force, joined the CPC in 1975, and graduated from Department of Mathematics of Jilin University in 1982. From 1998 to 2004, he was Director of Population and Social Science and Technology Statistics Department, National Bureau of Statistics. Since 2004, he is Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statistics.
